Job Placement Services

For over 25 years, our vast network of relations with sole practitioners and administrators - from international to boutique firms - has been built on trust from having trained their lawyers and staff.

We will work hard to help you find a workplace that will make good use of your skills. Should you ask us to represent you, it will be the law firms who will retain and pay our fees.

For those who we represent exclusively receive a marketing plan and a report every month.

Let's meet for chat to see if we can help you find your new workplace.

Technical Assessment
A free and exclusive service to candidate clients.

Once you sign an agreement to be our client candidate (the “Candidate”),  where appropriate, a technical assessment may be made available for you to write in civil or family litigation, or in trust accounting. The assessment is based on the CPD courses and the desk reference manuals Law Courts Center has published.

Assessments are free. And optional.

The assessment is graded and will result in two evaluations:
  1. Classification
    A short classification of whether the Candidate is above average, average, or below average in proficiency for a particular job title; and
  2. Report
    A detailed report outlining the Candidate's proficiency broken down in terms of knowledge of the law and rules, procedural requirements, and other areas of evaluation, as appropriate to the Candidate's preferred job position.

Should the Candidate write an assessment, the Candidate will receive the results of their Classification by phone. The Candidate may request for a Report for a fee.

The assessment is open book and must be completed in 2 hours at a mutually convenient location. You may write it during these hours (by appointment only):
  1. Monday and Friday from 10am to 3pm in Richmond;
  2. Tuesday to Thursday 1pm to 8pm in Vancuver.
