ABOUT US
Law Courts Center has been providing continuing professional development to lawyers, paralegals, trust accountants and legal assistants for over 25 years. It also has an extensive list of published desk reference manuals. Firms and people rely on Dom Bautista to be their matchmaker because he is their trusted confidante and he understands what is expected of members of practitioners from a competency and professional standpoint.
In 2010, Dom Bautista began the Amici Curiae Friendship Society. Powered by paralegals and supported by the profession, it operates legal forms workshops for self-represented litigants, including battered women and transgender women, Indigenous People and the poor, who need help completing their court forms. These workshops provide lawyers, paralegals, accountants, librarians and assistants meaningful roles in increasing access to justice. For our students, it provides them with an invaluable opportunity to be exposed to other facets of law they they would not necessarily work on in their current job.
